The weather is one thing you can not control in a wedding event.You can plan everything else but the weather is out of your hands no matter what you do.Well bad weather, as a photographer, is something you can plan for.Obviously you wish you do not need to deal with it.  But if you have been assigned a job to do the pictures you want to be ready for whatever weather may happen.So here are some useful tips you can follow in case of bad weather in a wedding day.

First and foremost you need a backup plan.But no matter what you do you still need to prepare another option for those outdoor shots you planned to capture.  As a San Diego wedding photographer I usually don’t have to worry about this.  But there will be times that bad weather happens.The thing you can do is ensure that you have a backup location that is ready if the weather does get bad.You can plan the photographs you will take with a backup place identified.

For most people this day is like no other.Because of that you have a huge responsibility to perform a good job. So here are some valuable tips to help you do just that for the groom and bride.

Having a plan of action is the first thing you need to do.  As a San Diego wedding photographer I have seen how this is so important.Since a wedding event is so hectic and crazy. There will be a lot of pressured and stressed out people. Because of that it is easy for you to lose control of the day.  But by having a plan of what shots you want to take and when you will be able to keep people in control.

Lighting is an important tool for photographers

Lighting is one of the most important aspects of photography.That is why professional photographers spend a lot of money in buying lighting equipment for their studio and field shoots.Proper lighting makes the difference between a great shot and a bad shot.So knowing that here are some tips regarding lighting when taking photographs.

There will be times when lighting in a studio may not be used.An example of this would be a wedding.In this case natural lighting is what you should utilize. As a San Diego wedding photographer I have to deal with this all the time. But it isn’t a bad thing.Utilizing the natural lighting is what determines a photographer if he is great or not.An example would be overcast days when it is great to take outdoor shots.But make sure that the sun’s rays are not against the shot if the day is sunny.  That way you can use the natural lighting.
